War criminal and genocidal monster Benjamin Netanyahu is now officially on record as rejecting all calls to allow the Palestinian people to have their own state.
He made the statement yesterday in a televised address to the Israelis who could stomach his lunacy. It was spoken in Hebrew, demonstrating that this was intended to rally support from the Jews of Israel as Netanyahu grows closer to his objective of wiping out the last Palestinian man, woman, and child in Gaza, either by murder or forced exodus to another country.
“In any future arrangement, settlement or no settlement, Israel needs security control over all land west of the Jordan,” he said in an impassioned prepared speech.
“This is a necessary condition,” he continued.
And while “It collides with the idea of sovereignty” for the Palestinians, he continued, it is a message the world needs to accept. “What can you do?”
“I tell this truth to our American friends,” he went on, “and I also blocked the attempt to impose a reality on us that would harm Israel’s security. The Prime Minister of Israel needs to capable of saying no to our friends, saying no when necessary, and saying yes when possible.”
“Every territory we pull out from, we get terror, terrible terror against us,” he said, while saying nothing of how much of that “terror” it claims to have received is in direct response to Israel’s brutalization of the Palestinian people in territories Israel illegally occupies, in direct violation of multiple international treaties.
“It happened in southern Lebanon, it happened in the Gaza Strip, and it happened in [the West Bank] when we did it, in parts,” he explained further, attempting to justify his actions even as each of those happened as Israel violated past peace treaties and settlement agreements with the Palestinian people.
Among the other “truths” Netanyahu laid out in this speech was that this is a war which will go on for much of 2024, until the last person standing in Palestinian no longer exists.
“Now I say simply and honestly,” the prime minister explained, “victory will take many more months, but we are determined to achieve it.”
Netanyahu delivered this message reportedly after discussions with representatives of the Biden White House where he reiterated that he has no intention of letting the Palestinians have control over anything once its genocidal war is complete.
Immediately following the speech, White House National Security Advisor John Kirby held a news conference with reporters about the speech while onboard Air Force One.
“There will be a post-conflict Gaza, no reoccupation of Gaza,” Kirby insisted, despite that so far the U.S. has refused to take the ultimate action it would have to do in order to force that to happen. That action would be to simply stop supplying the genocide with military aid, weapons, and money.
In a separate statement released late yesterday after that impromptu airborne press conference, the U.S. State Department declared that American “support for Israel remains ironclad”, despite what Kirby might have implied about any disagreements with what Netanyahu just said.
Currently, Israel is following through on everything Netanyahu said in this speech. There are currently 25,000 Palestinians confirmed murdered at the hands of Israeli Defense Forces and with fighter jets, bombs, bulldozers, rocket launchers, munitions, missiles, and shells provided by the U.S. and built by the American military-industrial complex, then there are the thousands more who remaining missing under the rubble of bombed buildings.
Chile and Mexico announced they are filing claims of Israeli war crimes committed in occupied Palestinian territories. Their complaints can be added to the many others that the corrupt ICC refuses to act upon.
The world doesn't have to allow Israel to incite regional war and possibly global war.
Individuals can continue to confront those who support the genocide and boycott all things Israeli and Jewish. Those with any measure of influence could lobby others in positions of power to:
1. Immediately replace the ICC's corrupt prosecutor, Karim Khan, and get the ICC to issue arrest warrants for Israeli and American war criminals committing blatant genocide.
2. Get BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Council along with the Arab League to admit Palestine as a member and impose a safe zone in South Gaza, allow aid trucks in and refugees out to hospitals and camps in Sinai.
3. Call an emergency meeting of the General Assembly to fix the Security Council by removing the veto power of permanent members. Then get the UNSC to pass an immediate and enforceable ceasefire, impose an arms embargo on both sides and impose economic sanctions on Israel and seize their funds to rebuild Gaza and pay reparations.
Defeating just Israel wouldn't be so difficult, but at present, the military of the U.S., UK and Germany (possibly all of NATO) would have to be defeated because they are subservient to Israel and providing unconditional support to the genocide. The only single nation that could defeat the fascist bloc militarily is China but it is unlikely to involve itself in the conflict militarily. BRICS nations banded together could certainly defeat the fascists but too many of them are influenced by Israel.
There are more than enough Muslims eager to come to the defense of Palestinians but their corrupt governments hold them back. Yemen and Hezbollah in Lebanon have been applying some pressure to Israel but are not able to defeat it as long as it has the continued support of NATO members. Iran understands that Israel is looking for an excuse to attack it with nuclear weapons and has been careful to not openly wage war on Israel, however, it could probably defeat Israel alone if it could keep it from launching its nukes.
For now, the atrocities will continue and the genocidal monsters will prevail for a bit longer.
