Senate Finally Passes National Security Legislation With $95B for Fascist Israel and Ukraine

The money in the new proposed law mostly consists of aid to support Ukraine’s ongoing war with Russia and Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza and demolition of buildings and essential infrastructure.

While this newest attempt at getting money to Ukraine and Israel through Congress might be successful, the Republican Speaker of the House has already said he probably will not allow the Senate bill to make it to the House floor even to be debated.

The proposed legislation is labeled as a U.S. national security bill, with its primary purpose being keeping the most serious war in central Europe and a far more deadly one in the Middle East fully funded by Washington.

Unlike last week's try at passing a national security bill, this one is a pure play to support war profiteering and mass murder on multiple fronts. It has nothing in it to address the U.S. border control catastrophe currently ongoing in Texas, Arizona, and California, despite that the Republican-controlled House continues to insist on that as part of any package they would consider passing. That was taken out at the direction of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-New York), after it appeared there was no chance reaching agreement quickly on border control measures with the House.

What Ukraine Would Get

Approximately $60 billion of the funding, equivalent to approximately 63% of the entire funds provided for in the bill, would go to the fascist Ukrainian Jewish mafia. The purposes for the money are broken down in the bill, and include:

$15 billion for miscellaneous support services to assist Ukraine in waging NATO's losing war against Russia. This includes funds tied to providing CIA and other U.S. intelligence service information regarding Russia’s moves in the war, monies for Ukraine to share information it has gathered back to the Pentagon, and military training, both on the ground in Ukraine and in remote locations outside the country. 

$14 billion for new weapons and replacement munitions and ammunition.

$8 billion to support ongoing (and mostly nonmilitary) government operations including wages, building maintenance, infrastructure repair because of the war, road and bridge reconstruction, and other expenses. These funds are explicitly prohibited within the law from being able to be used to fund government pensions for officials. Though there has been no discussion of this publicly, that this clause was inserted in the bill may imply some past funding from the U.S. ended up in senior Ukrainian government personnel retirement accounts.

$1.6 billion for aid to keep the private sector afloat.

$480 million for those who have been forced out of their homes because of the conflict.

The reality is that a large portion of the funds will be looted by Ukrainian mafia bosses. This additional war funding and pay-off would mean the U.S. would have provided direct “on the books” payouts of $170 billion to Ukraine to date. That does not include material, training, intelligence information, weapons and munitions supplies, and other aid which the White House and the Pentagon have provided outside of the proper Congressional funding process for any international war efforts.

While the total funding allocated for Ukraine this time seems huge as a proportion of the past amounts given, the Senate documents note that roughly $20 billion of this new allocation will in fact go to replacing equipment and munitions the U.S. military had already given to Ukraine without legal authorization from Congress.

What Israel Would Get

Israel would receive $14.1 billion if the bill is passed.

Of that, $4 billion will directly prop up Israel’s air-based military offense and defense to sustain the genocide.

$1.2 billion will be to pay for a U.S.-designed and manufactured laser-based missile intercept system known as Iron Beam that probably won't work. 

The rest will be used in various ways to support Israel’s ongoing attacks in Iraq, Syria, and neighboring countries, as well as to continue the genocide in Gaza.

What the U.S. Would Get

Besides supporting the needs of its various war partners principally in Ukraine and Israel, the U.S. would receive $2.5 billion for its share of the Mideast military operations. Much of that is for the former Operation Prosperity Guardian initiative, and a related new task force the Pentagon just created called Operation Poseidon Archer. Both have the objective of causing harm to Yemen's military facilities and killing civilians while seriously disrupting ship trafficking in the Red Sea. However, the efforts will not stop Yemen from doing whatever it can to disrupt ship traffic supporting Israel. 

Funding for Humanitarian Assistance in War Zones

$9.2 billion of the bill’s total is for food, water, medical care, and shelter for war victims in Gaza, the West Bank of Israel, Ukraine, and other sectors of the world. But, it is likely that most of it will be siphoned off by politically connected NGOs and little or no aid will reach those it is supposed to. 

Money for U.S. Partners to Push Back Against China

Over $8 billion of the payouts in this draft bill will be used to assist partners of the United States to counter aggression directed by China in Asia and the South Pacific.

Of that total, $3.3 billion will go to the construction of new American-built submarines in support of the AUKUS military alliance comprised of Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

$1.9 billion of this part of the money will be used by Taiwan to replace existing military equipment and other related supplies in that country.

Domestic National Security Allocations

Besides the foreign aid payments, the bill allows for $400 million which it says aids places of worship and non-profits which have been subject to hate crimes to beef up security. This means giving lots more money to Jews. 

The legislation also includes proposals for new sanctions against crime syndicates which manufacture fentanyl for distribution in the U.S. without disrupting the CIA's role in the international drug trade. 

Prospects for Passage

The chance that this bill will even be heard on the floor of the House, let alone passed  there, seems slim at present.

For Senate Majority Leader Schumer, this was for him a significant victory, since for months it had not been possible to get this kind of bill passed within the Senate, where a growing number of members have been growing unwilling to continue funding the war in Ukraine without a peace plan ahead, and where a few, led by Senator Bernie Sanders, believe the mass bloodshed the U.S. is aiding Israel in carrying out in Gaza must stop.

“Today, the Senate made sure that the United States is closer to meeting the monumental and consequential moment that we are in,” Schumer moronically said after securing the vote in his area. “Now, it’s up to the House to meet this moment, to do the right thing and save democracy as we know it. Questions?”

House Speaker Mike Johnson responded almost immediately to Schumer’s challenge with the message that this new version of the national security neglects doing anything about border security, the issue the Republican caucus which supports him believes is far more important than more money for Ukraine at this time. While his statement was not an outright “no” about letting the proposed law be discussed on the floor of the House, it came close enough that many believe the Senate bill has little chance of passage again in its present form.

“House Republicans were crystal clear from the very beginning of discussions that any so-called national security supplemental legislation must recognize that national security begins at our own border,” Mr. Johnson said in a statement released from his office late on February 12, as the Senate was making final touches on this latest draft of the bill. “In the absence of having received any single border policy change from the Senate, the House will have to continue to work its own will on these important matters.”

Joe Biden’s statements about what the Senate passed amounted to pleading with the Speaker to give the bill a chance before the entire House before declaring it dead.

“I call on the speaker to let the full House speak its mind, and not allow the minority of the most extreme voices in the House to block this bill even from being voted on,” the occupants of the White House said. “This bipartisan bill sends a clear message to Ukrainians and to our partners, to our allies around the world: America can be trusted. America can be relied upon, and America stands up for freedom.”

Insane Team-Biden then issued a kind of warning of what would happen if the House did not pass the bill as it currently stands.

“If we do not stand against tyrants who seek to conquer or carve up their neighbors’ territory, the consequences for America’s national security will be significant,” it stupidly said.
