Israel Finalizing Plans for Destruction of Gaza and Expulsion of Remaining Palestinians

On February 9, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directed his Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant and Minister of Security Itamar Ben-Gvir to prepare plans for the final depopulation of Gaza. 

Those plans are about to be unveiled publicly sometime this week. They will include the forced removal of an estimated over 1 million Palestinians still sheltering where Israel once claimed they would never be hurt, with the likely resettlement area being in Egypt. However, Egypt has clearly stated that it won't take them and has been erected barriers across the border to keep Palestinian refugees out of Egypt. That will likely change with Egypt's corrupt President receives enough financial incentive. 

Although the details of the assault or when it will begin are still not public, there have been several hints based on uncoordinated comments from several of the members of Benjamin Netanyahu's "War Cabinet" over the last few days.

Part of that came when Security Minister Ben-Gvir told reporters this weekend that this phase of the war will proceed unabated even through the Islamic holy period of Ramadan, which this year is expected to begin March 10 or 11 and run through April 9, 2024. The Islamic holiday Eid al-Fitr which follows Ramadan will be celebrated on April 10.

Ben-Gvir also noted that at this time of important holy celebrations for the Islamic people, his security teams and police will be blocking all Palestinians currently living in the West Bank from entering Jerusalem to attend prayers at Temple Mount as they had in the past, for many years.

“We should not allow residents from the [Palestinian] Authority to enter Israel in any way,” the security minister wrote from his official account on the social media platform X. “We cannot take chances and risks.”

“It [also] can’t be that women and children are hostages in Gaza and we allow Hamas victory celebrations on the Temple Mount,” he added, once again implying that Hamas, which has no role in the political leadership in the West Bank, nevertheless has heavily infiltrated there.

That alleged infiltration is constantly being used an excuse for the national police force’s vicious attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank throughout Israel’s war against Gaza which began on October 7.

A second piece of the puzzle was revealed when Benny Gantz, another member of the Zionist genocide cabinet, said Israel for now at least would be holding back on its last push into Rafah until likely just before Ramadan begins, and perhaps postponing it even longer if Hamas were to release "all the hostages" it has.

“The world must know, and Hamas leaders must know, if by Ramadan our hostages are not home, the fighting will continue everywhere, including the Rafah area,” Gantz declared to a group of fascist American Jews during a special gathering held in Jerusalem yesterday. 

Though that may sound like Gantz and Ben-Gvir are offering Hamas an olive branch to give up their hostages in return for there never being a final ground assault in Rafah, few believe that. Israel has routinely suggested such things and then dropped all pretenses of looking out for the protection of Palestinian civilians, on the purported grounds that Hamas was always hiding somewhere else yet undiscovered. Israel has only lied, as is its nature. 

In parallel with the massacre plan on Israel’s side, satellite photos indicate Egypt has been clearing considerable space just south of the Gaza border where conceivably some significant percentage of those Palestinians Israel’s military will be dragging out of its homeland. Those photos were distributed by the UK-based Sinai Foundation for Human Rights, which said the photos showed entry roads and evidence of construction at the site.

Backing up what the Sinai Foundation had reported, an official within Egypt’s security operations disclosed on condition of anonymity that their government had begun clearing a space in the desert just in the last few days where those refugees could stay temporarily, if necessary. The clearing reportedly includes installation of some basic facilities such as water and power for those who might be brought in. The official said the space was intended to be used “until a resolution is reached” about what to do with the people forced there by the Israeli military.

Other sources within Egypt’s security operations back up that many tents have already been delivered to the region. Though far from enough to cover the possible disastrous relocation of Palestinians fleeing Gaza, the facilities which bulldozers have cleared may be able to accommodate over 100,000 people.

That is less than one-tenth of the numbers which might be forced to live there if Israel precedes with its announced plans.

The Egyptian government has officially denied making any such arrangements. It has rejected any suggestion that a plan like this would ever make sense, on the grounds that doing so would only repeat the original “Nakba”, a word meaning “catastrophe”, which forced around 700,000 Palestinians out of their homeland when the Zionist state of Israel was formed in 1948 by a fiat dictated by the United Kingdom under pressure from the powerful Jewish Rothschild oligarchs. 

With the satellite images seeming to back up the story from the anonymous official, multiple news sources reached out to Egypt’s government for confirmation of what it might be doing. They received their response promptly from the head of Egypt’s State Information Service.

“This has no basis in truth,” he said. “Our Palestinian brothers have said, and Egypt has said that there is no preparation for this possibility.”

Egypt’s senior officials maintain their stance that the Palestinians should be allowed to live at peace in Gaza and that they are continuing to work with Israeli authorities to ensure that this would happen.

While understandable that Egypt would not want the presence of a place where up to 1 million refuge Palestinians might settle temporarily to be acknowledged, there is one action it is taking which it wants Israel to know.

That is its preparation to prevent the fighting in the war in Gaza from spilling out from Rafah and extending well into Egyptian sovereign territory.

As part of that, slightly over a week ago Egyptian construction crews could be viewed building a military-grade reinforced wall along portions of their side of the southern border with Gaza. Other portions of the border are being secured with rugged metal fencing and concrete.

Egyptian helicopters were also observed this past week distributing multi-layered razor wire barriers which is being installed across the top of that wall.

Late last year Egypt began preparing for what appears to be about to come by building another wall, this one of concrete, while reinforcing past barrier structures which were already in place nearby.

These are both in addition to a separate steel-and-iron fence Egypt had constructed on the southern wall with Gaza during the past decade. That wall is six meters high and six meters deep and surrounded by deep trenches of ground moved out of the way to make it difficult for mass movement of personnel or military equipment to proceed. That structure was created to prevent past conflicts in Gaza to gain a foothold there.

Even before the construction was started along the recent brick-metal-and-barbed-wire wall, Egypt mustered a “show of force” by sending an estimated 40 tanks, numerous armored personnel carriers, and what appear to be rocket and missile launchers nearby the border with Gaza.

According to retired Brigadier-General Samir Ragheb who has reviewed at least some of these plans, Egypt’s military buildup at the border is one of the biggest the country has put forth there in many years.

“The Egyptian security measures on the Gaza border are the highest provided for in the specifications stipulated in the security annex of the 1979 Egyptian Israeli peace treaty, both in terms of surveillance measures and the level of readiness of the security services,” he said in a statement made last week on this.

It is unclear if the Egyptian forces would fire on Israeli forces or on the Palestinians, or both. Egypt's massively corrupt and inept President/Dictator Abd el-Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil el-Sisi has always done Israel's bidding. In a leaked document outlining the genocide and purge of Palestinians from the land in Gaza, Israel estimated that it would cost about $30 billion to get Sisi to accept the Palestinians. Israel would of course get other nations to pay for it. 

That Israel is getting closer to that prospect is evident as Israeli aircraft already bombed close to the Rafah border at least six times just in the last few weeks. When the ground invasion of Rafah by Israeli Defense Forces begins in earnest, Israel is expected to step up its shelling next to the border, with the goal of opening a hole to ram the Palestinians through into Egypt.

That warning was telegraphed by Israel’s Netanyahu the last week of December 2023, when Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced his intention to take control of the existing border area between Israel and Egypt, a region known as the Philidelphi Corridor. Egypt reacted immediately by putting Israel on notice that this would be a violation of long-standing peace accords between the nations, a complaint Israel simply ignored.

Egyptian officials have confirmed they are considered deploying more military to the border if an invasion appears imminent. They also are prepared to pull their ambassador from Tel Aviv sometime soon. A further action most expect is that the Cairo government will formally suspend the peace agreement it has with Israel which has been in place for now over four decades.

Those were the much-heralded Camp David Accords, signed in 1978 with Israel’s then Prime Minister Menachim Begin and Egypt’s President Anwar Sadat, and brokered with the assistance of U.S. President Jimmy Carter. When that treaty was finalized a year later, it was the first peace agreement ever signed between an Arab nation and Israel. If its terms were suspended this year, 45 years after the treaty went into effect, it would represent yet another marker of how insane fascist Israel’s government has become.

Meanwhile, Egypt insists discussions regarding a potential ceasefire in Gaza are continuing, including talks scheduled to take place this week in Cairo and other locations.

While that may be true, Netanyahu reiterated this weekend that his government will not honor any suggestion of a ceasefire in Gaza.

“Those who want to prevent us from operating in Rafah are basically telling us: Lose the war,” Netanyahu told reporters at a press conference held on Jerusalem on February 17. “It’s true that there’s a lot of opposition abroad, but this is exactly the moment that we need to say that we won’t be doing a half or a third of the job.”

Dementia-ridden war criminal Joe Biden continues to stand shoulder-to-shoulder in support of Netanyahu in this. The White House has already signaled that it plans to veto a new United Nations Security Council resolution put forth by new SC member Algeria asking for a ceasefire, when and if it comes up for a vote this week.

Without any chance of a ceasefire and with humanitarian aid still choked off by Israel at just about any entry point into Gaza, it appears the Palestinian people will continue to be subjected to an ever-escalating wave of aerial attacks from above and lack of water, starvation, and adequate medical care until the final ground invasion begins.

Based on all data available at this time, that final ground invasion will start just three weeks from today, on March 11, just as Ramadan begins. 

The remaining question out there is whether other forces, such as those rumored to be gathering in multiple locations in Lebanon and Syria, perhaps linked to Iran, may launch their own preemptive pushback before Israel begins its last offensive.
