BLM Seeks Input On $348M In Proposed Conservation And Restoration Funding Recommendations

Since its implementation in 1998, SNPLMA has reinvested revenues from the sale of public lands near Las Vegas to benefit communities and public lands through creation of local parks, trails, and natural areas; the acquisition of environmentally sensitive lands; construction, repair, and rehabilitation of infrastructure and facilities; conservation, restoration, and fuels treatment projects; and projects to facilitate economic development and new employment.
Proposed projects will be sent to the Secretary of Interior for approval in consultation with the Secretary of Agriculture.
